Check valves are installed on the reciprocating compressors discharge pipelines. Their function is to avoid the gas returning from the user plant to the compressor in case of machine stop. In particular these valves are installed at the end of the last compression stage, onto the pipeline that leads the gas from the compressor cylinder to the user plant.

The company produces Non-slamming Check Valves with minimal pressure drop are suitable for pulsating conditions which are typical for reciprocating compressors, for vertical or horizontal installation. They are designed and tested according to the European Directive 97/23/CE (P.E.D.) concerning pressurised equipment.

The dimensions are in conformity with ANSI, ISO, DIN and UNI rules, they cover a wide pressure range up to ANSI 2500 (425 bar) and a temperature range from –196 to +250°C with sizes up to 20” (508 mm).
